FIU Gospel Choir

The FIU Gospel Choir is open to all FIU students, faculty and staff, and members of the greater Miami community. The choir draws on the best talent from the FIU community and is dedicated to celebrating the joy of Gospel and giving thanks through traditional, contemporary, and cross-over Gospel to educate and spread joy to audiences. Choir members are offered several performance opportunities each semester.

Singers with a sweet sound or some experience are encouraged to join! Offered every other fall.

FIU Filarmonia

The FIU Filarmonia was created to provide community musicians an opportunity to cultivate their devotion to the musical arts on the FIU campus. The Filarmonia is a non-auditioned full-size symphony orchestra that includes enrolled university students, alumni, staff, and affiliates. The repertoire includes established orchestral masterworks, from the classical era to the present, by composers of all nations. Offered every other year.

University Singers

The FIU University Singers is a large choral ensemble that performs a wide variety of music with membership that is open to all FIU students, faculty, and staff, as well as members of the greater Miami community.  A sincere love of singing and a desire to share your talents with like-minded singers is all that’s required. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 6:30 – 9:30pm in the Wertheim Recital Hall (WPAC 150).
