The MIGF IV will present extraordinary artists in eight concerts, four masterclasses, three lectures, and a round-table composers panel. Featured artists will include Leonardo De Angelis and Emiliano Leonardi (Italy), Duo NIHZ with Bobby and Sanna Rootveld (Germany), Kagan Korad and Tolga Salman (Turkey), Bahar Ossareh (Iran), Aysegül Koca and Cihat Askin (Turkey), and MIGF Artistic Director and Founder Mesut Özgen (Turkey/U.S.).

The annual MIGF Composition Competition has been presided by the extraordinary composer Orlando Jacinto Garcia, who will be joined by two other distinguished judges for evaluating the competition submissions: the award-winning composer Carlos Rafael Rivera (University of Miami) and the Fulbright scholar/composer Jacob Sudol (FIU). There will also be a composers panel among the festival events with non-guitarist and guitarist composers discussing various issues when writing for guitar.

The MIGF 2019 Festival continues until February 24th with daily concerts, masterclasses, lectures, and Luthiers Expo. Attend all festival events at a single reduced price!
