The FIU Miami Guitar Orchestra, directed by guitarist/composer Mesut Özgen, will present an exciting program of music from Renaissance to modern, as well as jazz and traditional musics from around the world. Enjoy Leo Brouwer’s Danza Característica and Paisaje cubano con campanas with live electronics; Verano Porteño by Astor Piazzolla; Criolla para Adelita by Martin Pedreira Rodriguez; and many other works performed by FIU guitar students. FIU faculty guitarist, Mesut Ozgen, will also perform Misionera by Fernando Bustamante.
