Join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center with the return of our FIU Music Festival this season from October 5th until October 28th! For information about all festival performances, please visit music.fiu.edu/musicfestival.

Considered one of the finest Turkish pianists of her generation, Hande Dalkilic makes her South Florida debut with FIU faculty guitarist and founder of the Miami International GuitART Festival, Mesut Ozgen, in a performance of music from Istanbul to London and everywhere else along the tracks of the famous Orient Express. First created in 1883, the route of the Orient Express changed many times. Today it continues to run from London to Venice and other destinations in Europe, including the original route from Paris to Istanbul.

Dalkilic and Ozgen perform duo and solo works by Malcolm Arnold, Fréderic Chopin, Franz Liszt, Ahmet Adnan Saygun, Mesut Ozgen and Carlo Domeniconi.
