The FIU Wind Ensemble rounds out their concert season with an eclectic mix of evocative music.

Guest conductor & Director of FIU Bands Barry Berhnardt will conduct Alfred Reed’s “Alleuia, Laudamus Te.” Later in the program, the FIU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Brenton Alston, will be joined by Miami Arts Studio students in a electric performance of David Maslanka’s “Give Us This Day.”

We are also proud to feature a tribute to Carlos Averhoff by FIU Saxophone alumni (Christopher Castro, Aldo Salvent, Justin Jopling, & Carlos Hernandez) and current students.
