The FIU Wind Ensemble, led by conductor and human rights advocate Brenton F. Alston, are joined by singer Vindhya Khare and DJ Mikey Forte for a unique tribute. This eclectic concert will feature William Bolcum’s “Cabaret Songs” for voice and chamber winds and close with a moving performance of Elliot Del Borgo’s “Do not go gentle into that good night” in tribute to those lost in the recent tragedy at “Pulse” night club in Orlando, Florida.
