Soprano, Vindhya Devi Khare, has a voice described as “rich, agile…[and] radiant.” (Miami Herald). She received her D.M.A. Degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music with doctoral research in the field of sex hormones
and the female singing voice. She has presented her research at the International Congress of Voice Teachers in Stockholm, Carnegie-Mellon University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, the Savannah Voice Festival, Sherrill Milnes Florida VOICE Experience, and the American Guild of Organists (Miami), and numerous choral organizations in South Florida with upcoming invitations at various universities and the Conference of the National Association of Teachers of Singing in Chicago.

Dr. Khare also holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Florida International University, as well as an undergraduate degree in piano performance from California State University, Northridge. Dr. Khare is the Coordinator of Vocal Performance at Florida
International University, Miami as well as an Associate Teaching Professor. She is actively involved in the Development and Membership Committees of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and is the immediate past President of the local Gold Coast NATS
Chapter, having served two consecutive terms. She has served as Artistic Director of the University Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale and is past President of the Paul L. Rodensky Foundation for the Arts.

As an accomplished pianist and voice coach, Khare served as Principal Pianist/Voice Coach and Associate Chorus Master at Palm Beach Opera under the baton of the late Maestro Anton Guadagno. She is also on the music staff of Temple Beth El of Boca Raton and Plymouth
Congregational Church in Miami.
