Michael Eckroth, Faculty Jazz Ensemble & Big Band

In this special concert, accomplished jazz pianist Michael Eckroth makes his FIU debut in his new position as asst. professor in a performance with the FIU Faculty Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Big Band for what will be an unforgettable evening. Eckroth is a pianist/arranger for the Cuban ensemble Orquesta Akokan, whose 2018 debut album received a Grammy Nomination.
