Nuria Camino is a renowned soloist, collaborative pianist and pit orchestra musician based in Miami, Fl. Since 2016, she has been piano faculty at Florida International University’s Wertheim School of Music, where she teaches class piano 1-4, applied lessons and is the dedicated pianist for the Musical Theatre Program. Ms. Camino frequently collaborates with vocalists and instrumentalists throughout South Florida and is a part of FIU’s musical theatre collaboration with the Fondazione Lucia de Conz in San Gregorio nelle Alpi, Italy and Accademia Teatrale da Ponte in Vittorio-Veneto, Italy.

As a pit musician, she has performed in Florida venues such as the Arsht Center, the Olympia Theatre and the Miracle Theatre working with MoonAmie, the Actors’ Playhouse and other Miami theatre companies. Some of her recent musical theatre credits include pit orchestra for Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, In the Heights, Chicago, The Addams Family, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, High School Musical, Newsies and The Sound of Music.

Ms. Camino is an alumna of Florida International University’s Wertheim School of Music, with both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Piano Performance.
