Dr. Raul Rodriguez is a highly versatile performer equally comfortable in classical, Latin jazz and pop music. His career has ranged from international appearances as an orchestral soloist with the Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Honduras and the San Pedro Sula Chamber Orchestra to performing with legendary pop and jazz artists such as Michael Bolton, Ray Charles, and Natalie Cole.

Dr. Rodriguez can be heard in the 2015 Latin Grammy winner album Dr. Ed Calle Presents: Mamblue. His television appearances include “Premios Lo Nuestro”, “Despierta America”, and the iconic variety television series “Sabado Gigante”, as well as appearances on DVD for the classic rock group Kansas and the Latin American Song Writers Hall of Fame.

Being one of South Florida’s premier French horn player, Dr. Rodriguez is “first-call” for South-Florida’s visiting Broadway’s biggest blockbusters including Anastasia, Lion King, Wizard of Oz, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera and many others.

A passionate chamber music artist, as a founding member of the Everglades Trio (Horn, Violin, & Piano), Dr. Rodriguez regularly perform chamber music recitals around the US, South America and most recently a European tour that took them to Sweden, Latvia, Russia, and Lithuania where they took part of the 2018 Pažaislis Music Festival in Kaunas, Lithuania.

He currently teaches at the School of Music at Florida International University, performs for the Miami City Ballet and the South-Florida Symphony Orchestra, and keeps a private horn and trumpet studio.
