Claudio Da Soller and Paolo Trevisan share how, over 90 years, Pininfarina has been envisioning and designing the future, combining the foundational values of a company with a constant drive for innovation.

Claudio da Soller
Vice President and General Manager

Claudio Da Soller is the General Manager and Senior Vice President of Pininfarina’s American multi-disciplinary design studio, specializing in industrial and product design, transportation, and architecture. As a company officer, he oversees commercial and marketing strategy, operations, and P&L for North, Central, and Latin America.
Before joining Pininfarina, Claudio held the role of Marketing Director for General Electric, leading the development and execution of brand positioning and marketing strategies for the home appliances division in EMEA. His career spans over 15 years in premium consumer goods and global home appliances, with experience in strategic and international business development roles at Philips and Viking Range Corporation across the U.S. and Germany.
Prior to his business career, Claudio served as a Lieutenant in Italy’s Carabinieri Corps, commanding a logistics department of over 100 personnel at just 24 years old. His early years also saw him as a semi-professional soccer player in Italy’s 4th division, earning the Panathlon International “Fair Play” award in 1996 for promoting sportsmanship and education, as well the Casa Italia Miami Award in 2024 for his contribution to the Italian community in South Florida. Claudio continues to give back through leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, including Executive Vice-President of the Italian-USA Chamber of Commerce Southeast and President of the Carabinieri National Association in Miami. He is also a founding member of Associazione Amici di Rolle, dedicated to preserving the cultural and historic heritage of his hometown village in northern Italy.
Fluent in Italian, English, and German, Claudio holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Udine in Italy and an MBA with honors in Marketing from HULT International Business School in Boston. An avid traveler and marketing enthusiast, Claudio’s global perspective enriches his personal and professional endeavors.
Paolo Trevisan

Paolo Trevisan is the Vice President of Design at Pininfarina of America, where he spearheads the subsidiary’s design efforts across the Americas. In this role, Paolo ensures that Pininfarina’s iconic DNA and design language are seamlessly integrated into every project. From conceptualization to delivery, he oversees the entire creative process, maintaining the brand’s legacy of excellence and innovation.
With a diverse portfolio spanning industrial design, architecture, interiors, graphics, packaging, and transportation, Paolo has led over 100 high-profile initiatives. His collaborations include renowned names such as Florense, NX Boats, Coca-Cola, 3M, Bovet 1822, Lavazza, Autosport, Aerion Supersonic Jet, Reflex, Calligaris, Cisco Systems, Snaidero, The Related Group, AECOM, The City of Miami Beach, Cyrela, and Pasqualotto & GT, among others.
Paolo has been instrumental in shaping the global prestige of the Pininfarina brand, particularly through his leadership in the firm’s inaugural residential projects. His forward-thinking approach, grounded in a human-centered design philosophy, sets new benchmarks for user experience across various design disciplines.
Paolo’s academic foundation includes a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino and a diploma in Transportation Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy. He also contributed to education as a faculty member and curriculum coordinator for IED’s master’s program for 12 years. Paolo’s expertise has been recognized through his roles as a jury member for the ADI (Italian Association for Industrial Design), the American Architecture Awards (2019), and the Good Design Awards (2020).
