Amanda Iannone is a multidisciplinary printmaker and artist currently based in Miami, Florida, where she is pursuing an MFA in Visual Arts at Florida International University and a Fellow at RA+DI. With an undergraduate degree in Large format printmaking & Graphic Design from PNCA, Amanda moves between printmaking, sculpture, moving image, and digital processes, with a particular investment in material experimentation, typography and the circulation of images across mediums. Working through serigraphy, hectographs, letterpress, monotype, pressure printing, ceramics, and scanning, Iannone approaches print as both a physical process and a method of recording and translation. Her work is informed by collected objects, found imagery, ornamental language, and archival material, examining how images and objects accumulate meaning through use, repetition, preservation, satire and perspective.
