Bio-Tile: Performance Based Infrastructure

This project searches for a solution to protect coastal areas from the impacts of climate change, including rising sea levels, extensive coastal erosion, and depopulation of marine species. It proposes a performance-based hybrid landscape infrastructure that will collect sediment, filter stormwater runoff, reduce coastal surface temperature, and promote biodiversity in addition to preventing coastal erosion.
