Shahin Vassigh is a professor of Architecture and the Director of Technology Research Development for the College of Communication, Architecture, and the Arts (CARTA) at Florida International University (FIU). She is also the Director of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication (RDF) lab and the Co-Director of FIU’s Integrated Computer Assisted Virtual Environment (I-CAVE) lab.

Eric Peterson is an Associate Program Director of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab. He is a PhD candidate in Design at University of Genoa where he is researching tools and strategies for large scale continuous fiber additive manufacturing. In the RDF Lab he is developing a new robotic end effector for large scale additive manufacturing.
