Shahin VassighProfessor of Architecture Founding Director of Robotics and Digital Fabrication Department of Architecture

Dr. Shahin Vassigh has built a nationally recognized body of research on sustainable building technology education through developing alternative pedagogies that utilize advanced media. This research has been supported by significant federal grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the US Department of Education (DOE) as well as other sources.

Eric PetersonAssociate Teaching Professor of Architecture Associate Program Director of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab Department of Architecture

Professor Eric Peterson is a fabrication specialist, architecture and design educator, and a manufacturing and fabrication technology curriculum developer. He is also a Ph.D. Candidate in Design at the University of Genoa with a research focus on additive manufacturing and automated fabrication technologies.

Jacek Kolasinski Assistant Professor of Art Founding Director of the Ratcliffe Incubator of Art + Design Senior Research Fellow at the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab Department of Art + Art History

Dr. Jacek Kolasinski is an interdisciplinary artist with a Ph.D from The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. His research and artistic practice focuses on the search for identity in the vortex of cultural displacement using trans-disciplinary collaborative productions, multimedia installations, 3d digital fabrications, as well as community-based, and site-specific projects..

Jorge TubellaCoordinator of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab Department of Architecture

Jorge Tubella is a graduate of Florida International University with both a Master of Architecture and Master of Arts in Architecture and is certified in fundamental operations of Kuka Robotics. Tubella’ s research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence to robotic and automated construction.

Biayna BogosianAssistant Professor of Architecture Associate Program Director of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication Lab Department of Architecture

Biayna Bogosian’s academic and professional background spans the fields of architecture, environmental design, computational design, data science, spatial science, and interactive media design. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Media Arts & Practice at USC School of Cinematic Arts, and holds a M.S. in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a B.Arch from Woodbury University.

Dr. Madeline Gannon

Dr. Madeline Gannon is a multidisciplinary designer inventing better ways to communicate with machines. In her research, Gannon seeks to blend knowledge from design, robotics, and human-computer interaction to innovate at the intersection of art and technology.
