Summary

As a Merchant/Partner Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for engaging prospects over the phone and email to set qualified appointments for our Account Executive sales team. A successful candidate will perform initial fact finding to uncover pain points in the merchant’s Accounts Receivables and position EVO B2B as a solutions provider and also uncover how a partnership could benefit our prospects and position EVO B2B as a good potential partner.

What you’ll do:

  • Set qualified appointments to fuel the EVO B2B sales team pipeline.
  • Utilize tools and technology provided by EVO such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to set qualified appointments for partner sales teams.
  • Complete between 35 and 60 activities a day.
  • Professionally and clearly articulate the value proposition of a complex software solution (verbal and written) and how it relates to the payment ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with marketing & sales teams to execute outbound prospecting campaigns to drive opportunities with Enterprise businesses and/or partners.
  • Quickly follow up on, qualify, and process leads that come from events, trade shows, referrals, etc.
  • Uncover pain points on initial call with high level Finance executives to uncover pain points needed to qualify a B2B appointment.
  • Target B2B businesses over $50 million+ in annual sales revenue.
  • Evaluate goals & statuses of leads in the buying process and purchasing power via email, phone and social media.

About you:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Comfortable with public speaking and selling over the phone
  • Ability to establish priorities, work collaboratively, and meet objectives
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Must be able to establish and maintain productive, positive, and cooperative relationships with internal and external partners, etc.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) is a plus
  • Ability to overcome objections and develop new business through prospecting and cold calling
  • Possess a positive attitude
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
  • Competent in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office)
