At SalesLoft, our Digital Experience and Operations Intern are pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Digital Experience and Operations team – a new branch of our industry-leading marketing department. You’ll help the team make data-driven decisions through a strong command of various analytical tools and the knowledge to derive actionable insights from multiple data sources.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for assisting the marketing team with its reporting and analytics efforts to achieve success across multiple marketing channels. Specifically, you will:
- Provide program and channel-based reports to stakeholders across the marketing department
- Exemplify our results-focused value, highlighting areas of success, concern, and providing other areas of analysis as needed.
- Optimize our marketing automation platform in order to produce reproducible, scalable reports for marketing users.
- Be seen as a valued contributor to the marketing team who contributes to operational excellence.

THE TEAM:
Our SalesLoft’s Marketing team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming thought leaders who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

The Digital Experience and Operations team consists of creative, tech-savvy marketers looking to push the boundaries of traditional marketing strategies.

THE SKILL SET:
- A basic understanding of traditional marketing objectives and success metrics
- A basic knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Some experience with content management systems and content entry
- Some experience with project planning and work estimation
- An introduction to digital marketing tools (WordPress, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc)
- Some experience presenting data and insights to leadership
- Comfort with large data sets
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend SalesLoft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our SalesLoft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-6-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the SalesLoft team, and delve into your role
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Meet key partners in Account Management, Finance, Marketing, Executives etc. – they will be key relationships for you throughout your apprenticeship
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be a reporting expert capable of delivering program results to members of the marketing team
- Contribute to web development and website management
- Help hold marketing team members accountable for hitting project deadlines
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Have developed the ability to manage the bulk of traditional marketing reporting requirements
- Be a confident communicator, practiced in delivering and analyzing results
- Be able to troubleshoot and implement coding updates to the website
