Marketing Coordinator, Digital Campaigns & Events (Temp to Perm)
We are looking for a creative, organized and intellectually curious teammate to join a highly collaborative Marketing team, playing a critical role in a very different kind of law firm. Because of our highly distinctive business model and unique global footprint, members of Kobre & Kim’s Marketing and Strategy teams have opportunities to make an outsized impact, including an openness and eagerness for new ideas; day-to-day collaboration with company leadership; and exposure to unique and innovative litigation issues, many of which are front-page news.
The Marketing Coordinator, Digital Campaigns & Events will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of significant digital marketing initiatives that support the firm’s strategic goals, including digital marketing campaigns, external networking opportunities as well as virtual publicly facing webinars and internal events. You will thrive if you are both:
a) A self-starter with excellent project management and organization skills who knows and loves the details that go into making successful digital marketing campaigns; and
b) Intellectually curious, always aiming to understand and influence the “why” behind projects you’re involved in and ensuring those projects achieved the desired goals.
Location: Temporarily remote (New York, Washington DC, Miami, San Francisco)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support and lead highly targeted, integrated digital marketing campaigns, incorporating email outreach, digital events, advertising and 1:1 outreach
- Marketing automation: Support the design and oversee the execution of segmentation within our industry-leading CRM, email nurture campaigns, and lead scoring initiatives within our marketing automation platform and industry-leading CRM. (Experience in Marketo or Hubspot desired.)
- Digital events contributor: Support the planning and lead the execution of internal and external digital events (e.g., webinar, Town Halls, trainings, roundtables), working closely with the communications team, BD and lawyers, while owning progress on the overall project with minimal oversight
Digital Marketing
- Contribute ideas and project management campaigns to expand and strengthen Kobre & Kim’s most valuable networks via digital content and channels (e.g., email, webinar, microsite and 1:1 outreach)
- Lead segmentation strategy and execution within our industry-leading CRM, defining and sharing insights into our most valuable audiences
- Design and populate marketing automation (email nurture) campaigns for target segments, including developing tailored lead scoring logic and coordinating with Business Development team to trigger 1:1 outreach
- Develop reporting (analytics) dashboards to evaluate campaign success, proactively spot issues and propose go-forward recommendations
Events (Digital and Conferences)
- Support the planning and implementation of external and internal firm events (e.g., webinars, town halls):
- Identify webinar opportunities and content ideas to reach and engage target audiences
- Identify and assess event goals with key stakeholders and advise on “go/no go” decisions
- Create and manage timelines and provide regular updates to event team on deadlines and deliverables to ensure all events run smoothly, coordinating pre, during and post logistics
- Conduct post-event debrief meetings and track follow up items
- When in-person conferences return, identify and assess external conference and industry events for our lawyers to attend, speak at and sponsor (in line with the responsibilities above)
Requirements:
- 2-4 years’ experience in a marketing role with a lead scoring component
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Strong organization skills and a track record of successfully project managing digital marketing campaigns
- Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
- Proactively communicates to facilitate workflow, teamwork and efficiency
- Thrives in a visible role and works effectively with team members, colleagues and firm stakeholders
- Independent worker who takes initiative to complete tasks and drive projects
- Produces high quality work; is efficient, accurate and has good attention to detail
- Consistently strives to improve performance; seeks opportunities to develop professionally and expand job knowledge
- Experience in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo or Hubspot) desired
