We specialize in professional flight training in new airplanes and have a team consisiting of the best flight instructors in the business. We are an FAA 141 Accredited Flight School, Veterans Affairs approved, and Florida Department of Education Accredited.When you join our team, you’ll take on key management responsibilities including assisting with supervising day-to-day flight operations, ensuring overall performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team. We will provide professional development assistance.Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Assists the Flight School Manager with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating resultsEstablishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired resultsIdentifies training and development opportunities that will assist their direct reports in achieving enhanced performanceUnderstands the overarching company strategy, as well as communicates and models the core values of the organization, to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employeesMonitors the competitive environment within the community and informs the direct leader regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company’s competitive positionIs attention to detail with billing, record keeping, and all other tasks.Participates in the interviewing process for all personnelCommunicates information including weekly information, major team milestones, developments, and concernsEnsures flight instructors adhere to procedures, guidelines, and scheduling efficiency to minimize losses and maximize revenueEnsures an appropriate resolution of operational customer concerns in the manager’s absenceKeeps classrooms and office neat, clean and organized at all timesEnsures the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signageAssists in inventory counts and training new employeesSupervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessaryEnsures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of customer service for the businessComplies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and dataOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Must be a US CitizenAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentAbility to provide and lead others to provide prompt and courteous customer serviceAbility to develop rapport, trust, and open communication that enhances the growth and job performance of direct reportsAbility to interpret and apply company policies and proceduresAbility to establish goals, guide employee performance to ensure the quality and completion of work assignmentsAbility to evaluate and drive performance of self and othersAbility to understand and apply management principles concerning budgeting, personnel costs, and expensesAbility to operate a cash register efficiently and accuratelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner, following instructions and giving attention to detailKnowledge of Quick books and Photoshop is preferred.Job Types: Part-timePay: $14.00 per hourBenefits:Professional development assistanceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayOn callWeekend availabilityHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
