Summer Semester: Internship dates are approximately from late May 2022- mid August 2022.

JOB SUMMARY: This internship will be an opportunity to assist Universal Creative’s Intellectual Property (IP) team and gain experience in building/maintaining relationships with IP stakeholders and vendors. This experience will also provide insight into the creative process of designing IP-specific attractions in alignment with project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing support to IP Manager by maintaining tracking spreadsheets, creating presentation decks, scheduling meetings, and ensuring alignment with project schedule.
  • Providing support to Props Manager, helping to oversee props scope and design.
  • Assisting with creative tasks as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
  • An official transcript will be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Themed Entertainment, Marketing, Theatre/Technical Design, Visual Arts, Arts Administration

EXPERIENCE: Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Preferable skills for success in role includes but is not limited to:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign), AutoCAD, and Smartsheet
  • Familiarity with Universal Orlando products and related IPs
  • Experience/education in theatrical, theme park, visual arts, or other media-related design/production work
  • Ability to communicate effective and clearly, to groups of all sizes

  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2022.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
