As a Specialist, you’ll lead proposals and finalist presentations, including the coordination of administration, product development, systems, and sales components to provide an accurate, profitable and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) responses or finalist presentations. We’ll count on you to sort and translate data and analytics for the sales process to drive predictive sales activity. You’ll also be responsible for lead management analysis and dissemination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares response to specific business-related Requests for Proposal (RFP) for existing and potential customers. Helps create communication and educational plans for RFP. Prepares finalist presentations to support the efforts of the business development and/or sales, accurately incorporating the components of the RFP response. Ensures that responses are timely, customized to meet client business objectives, technically accurate and in compliance with all internal/external regulations.
- Coordinates the proposal process, working closely with relevant areas of the company, to prepare a response that accurately reflects all current and proposed capabilities of assigned business/product. Evaluates all developmental and ongoing expenses that the assigned business unit would incur if contract(s) is awarded.
- Participates in projects involving product development and procedures to benefit the business unit. Helps establish implementation/conversion timelines, investment selection, monitoring, analysis binders and other documentation and report.
- Analyzes lead management outputs and communicates to internal constituents.
- Serves as a technical consultant to other areas of the company, including Sales and Product Development. Assists the sales force in identifying solutions for new business opportunities within the constraints of existing product and administrative capabilities.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director, Institutional Sales.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in business administration or related field preferred. Participation in, or attainment of, technical coursework desirable.
Experience: Three years of related experience including, but not limited to, product plan administration and sales, customer service, sales consulting, relationship management, project management, communication and marketing.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Marketing techniques and approaches, systems analysis and project management.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional travel. Non-standard or extended work may be required based on project needs.
