As part of the Global Land Sales & Operations team, the Sr. Specialist will be responsible for implementing and adhering to the Global Tender & Project Management Process and the Contract Management guidelines established to generate increased sales and efficiencies within the Land segment of the company.

The Sr. Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of proposals/offers in response to RFP or identified sales opportunities to be in full compliance with WFS’ Corporate Policy.

The Sr. Specialist must ensure that all the steps along Global Tender & Project Management Process and the Contract Management guidelines are followed and ensures a high level of customer experience, timely proposals, and contract execution by:

  • Leading new & approved opportunities/projects through the Global Tender & Project Management Process and the Contract Management guidelines ensuring all relevant approvals and documentation is collected, completed, and maintained.
  • Becoming the SME for each assigned opportunity/project.
  • Developing and adhering to a detailed Action plan with defined deliverables and timelines.
  • Laying out clear action items, communication updates, and tender/contract material to various business leads across the company as needed by project.
  • Driving the opportunity/project set up requirements and all required input data via the necessary systems/processes.
  • Coordinating and leading meetings when necessary, by identifying proper participants, creating Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes and follow up on agreed action items.
  • Ensuring high quality offer submission/ responses to proposals are accurate, within the required customer deadline and in full compliance with WFS policies

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Proven experience being effective when performing in a similar role.
  • Significant Project Management skills and Project Management Certification are preferred
  • This position requires detailed knowledge about development and implementation of Project Management, tender/sales processes, research, ordering systems, pricing mechanisms, and related documents.
  • Strong people skills; effective communication and excellent time management skills, drive to see projects through to the end and work independently or as a group
  • Great sense of urgency
  • Ability to overview and drive a complex tender process
  • Ability to work in an international, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
  • Adaptive to rapid changes in a positive manner and ability to work with tight deadlines

The position regularly works additional hours during the week or on weekends and evenings; responsibilities of the position may require telephone contact at unusual hours.

Occasional travel may be planned or on short notice. A requirement of the job, but not a significant job component. May include international travel if necessary.
