THE GREENHOUSE is a play development program at FIU Theatre supporting Florida playwrights. Three playwrights are selected every summer for one-week intensive residencies in June and July to workshop/revise a draft of a full-length play. A director, a dramaturg, and age-appropriate actors work with the playwright throughout the week, culminating in a public reading of the revised work.
A call for submissions for the 2022 season of The Greenhouse will go out in December 2021.
