Marina Pareja has designed costumes at FIU for Medea, Julius Caesar, A Flea in Her Ear, Six Characters in Search of an Author, Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Midwinter Night’s Dream, and Little Shop of Horrors. She has been recognized for Excellence in Costume Design by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for The Liar, An Ideal Husband, and Blithe Spirit. Marina directed La Nona at FIU, the department’s first Spanish language production. The show was presented at the Regional KCACTF Festival in Statesboro, Georgia and Marina was recognized for Excellence in Design. Marina served as the Production Manager and Associate Artistic Director for the Alternative Theatre Festival (ATF), FIU’s summer season. She has directed numerous shows for ATF including Reefer Madness, Bicycle Country, Reverse Psychology, and The Weird.
