David Anastagasti, widely known by his artistic pseudonym “Ahol Sniffs Glue,” is a dynamic figure in the contemporary art world and the first RA+DI Entrepreneurial Resident. Ahol’s journey into the arts has roots in his early fascination with street art and graffiti, which profoundly influenced his unique visual style, characterized by his signature droopy eyeballs. Whether on large-scale murals, multimedia installations, interactive performances, or paintings on trash he discovers on his bicycle rides, Ahol’s ability to transform urban landscapes into vivid canvases speaks to his commitment to making art accessible and engaging for a broad audience.

During his RA+DI Entrepreneurial Residency, Ahol developed his Geographies of Trash: Art Cycling With Ahol Sniffs Glue project, which involved the community in the creative process to activate his belief in the transformative power of art as a catalyst for social transformation and ecological responsibility.
