They have been credited with pioneering Bhangra music in North America via Basement Bhangra club night (1997-2017). Rekha was the sound designer for the TONY award-winning Broadway Show, “Bridge and Tunnel”, and was an associate producer for the NPR Radio Documentary, “A Feet in Two Worlds.” has curated events for Celebrate Brooklyn, Central Park Summerstage and has performed at the Obama White House, and internationally. their weekly podcast is Bhangra and Beyond. They have a Masters Comparative Media Studies from MIT.
