Curated by Carole Ann Taylor, Deborah Briggs and John Stuart. Join us for a journey through the history of Overtown, a four-part experience that includes music, poetry, scholarship, and imagery.

Overtown Rising
With special guest Neil Shivers, Executive Director of the Southeast Overtown / Park West Community Redevelopment Agency. South Florida native, Cornelius “Neil” Shiver has over 20 years of experience in law, business management, public policy and community development – and was appointed to his position in 2018.
