Amanda Wojtasiak is a 2023 Master of Architecture graduate from Orlando, FL, and worked at the RDF lab for 2 years. With a focus on modeling, fabrication, 3D printing, graphic design, and assembly, she has used her skills from advanced studio and computational design courses to create precise and clean models and designs for clients in various multidisciplinary fields. She dedicated time to photography and learning to program and 3D Print with the KR-10 KUKA Arm towards the end of her experience with the lab to integrate her research with her Masters Thesis. She was chosen to participate in the NSF Funded International Research Experience & Professional Development in Build Environment Sustainability program and conducted research with faculty and students at the National University of Singapore. Her research on Interlocking Concrete Blocks using 3D Polymer Printing won second place for poster presentations at the 2023 ASTFE Thermal and Fluid Engineers Conference. She is now working as a Graduate Architect with WGI in Tampa where focuses on commercial and federal architecture and aims to earn her architecture license.
