The Robotics and Digital Fabrication (RDF) Laboratory at FIU is an interdisciplinary lab focused on technological innovation for improving the built environment. The lab aspires to become a catalyst for invigorating environmental research and development by bridging the gap between the virtual and physical worlds.
RDF team aims to create a supportive environment for FIU’s diverse faculty, students, and industry partners by facilitating collaborations and providing access to advanced digital fabrication and spatial computing technologies.
Doctoral Student Lyla Di Wu and MArch student Anyela de las Traviesas from the RDF lab, have been selected for a prestigious nine-month program at Japan's Kyushu University.
