Elizabeth Baquero

Adjunct and Affiliated Faculty
Dr. Baquero received her Ed.D. in Health Education and Behavior Studies at Columbia University. She received her M.S. in Global Strategic Communications at Florida International University. She received her B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. She works full-time in New York City at Weill Cornell Medicine as a Research Program Manager. She oversees the grants of the chief of the division of general internal medicine funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Elizabeth's work is focused on improving health education, health communication, and reducing health disparities. She has over three years of experience teaching online as a part-time Adjunct Professor at Florida International University for the School of Communication.
