Ivette M. Yee is the Chief Content Strategist and Senior Manager of CRM & Enrollment Communications at FIU, where she creates and implements award-winning external

and internal communication and marketing campaigns to recruit Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral and international students. 

Previously, she was Communications Manager at the University of Miami School of Communication and Managing Editor of the award-winning Arts Camp; Sciences Magazine. 

Prior to transitioning into Higher Education, Ms. Yee was an award-winning journalist for more than a decade, covering cultural affairs, philanthropy, and entertainment for publications including, The Miami Herald, Sun Sentinel, the Florida Times Union and Entertainment Weekly. She is the former Florida Chapter president and national convention co-chair of the Asian-American Journalists Association.

Ms. Yee graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and a master’s degree in Communications. Her interests include the arts, ethnic cuisine, and travel.
