Italian Cinema Festival Promotional Graphics Created by FIU – Miami Ad School’s Students

Florida International University and Miami Ad School Students Find Real World Learning Success with Italian Cinema Festival

Grad students at FIU – Miami Ad School’s joint program won a competition to create the graphic used to promote the Italian Cinema Festival

Miami, Florida – First-year graduate students enrolled at Florida International University –Creative Track in partnership with Miami Ad School to create a graphic used to promote the Italian Cinema Festival 15th edition in Miami. The same graphic will be used to promote the same festival in Atlanta, GA in April.

This is an example of the real-world learning that the FIU-MAS offers its students to help build their portfolios. The students were divided into 4 teams of 4, and representatives of the festival chose the winning graphic.

The winning students are:

  • Adriana Magana
  • Valeria Figueroa
  • Bader Salahuddin
  • Daniel Jungkind

The graphic was used to promote the festival, which screened ten award-winning films at the Colony Theatre in Miami Oct. 6-10, 2017.

About Italian Cinema Festival:

The Italian Film Festival organizes Festivals of Italian Cinema and other activities in several markets in the US and internationally intended to promote Italian Culture through its Cinema and Art. The Italian Film Festival Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the state of Florida on February 17th 2002 for the sole purpose of promoting Italian cinema and culture outside of Italy.
