President & General Manager | WTVJ NBC 6 South Florida

Larry Olevitch is the President and General Manager of NBC 6 South Florida / WTVJ, the NBC-owned station serving the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market. Olevitch has over 30 years of local broadcast television experience, including over a decade at NBCUniversal.

For the last two years, Olevitch was Senior Vice President of Sales for NBC 6 South Florida. In that role, he focused on creating new business initiatives for the station, developing analytical disciplines and improvements in digital sales performances.

Before assuming his role at NBC 6, Olevitch was the Senior Vice President of Integrated Media at the NBC Owned Television Stations for four years, where he created a new team dedicated to the sales function of all non-broadcast businesses. Previously, he was the Vice President of Sales at NBC 6.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Olevitch was with Scripps Howard Broadcasting, where he worked as Sales Manager and Research Director at WPTV in West Palm Beach for five years and in various sales positions at WEWS in Cleveland for nearly 15 years. Olevitch began his career as a local account manager for Viacom.

Olevitch holds a BA in Film Management from Bowling Green State University. He and his wife have three daughters and reside in South Florida.
