RECOMMENDED: Women and Public Service

The Kopenhaver Center is pleased to share the achievements of fellow Florida International University faculty member, Dr. Mohamed G. Alkadry, who has recently published a new book titled, Women and Public Service: Barriers, Challenges, and Opportunities (2013). The book, which was co-authored with Dr. Leslie E. Tower from West Virginia University, offers an in-depth examination of the constant gender disparity women face in the workplace. It’s presentation of these significant issues are not only important and applicable to women working in the public sector, but also to those in the mass communication profession.
