Dr. Kopenhaver and Anne Vasquez to Appear on TV’s Focus on South Florida

Watch Dr. Kopenhaver this Sunday, May 24, 2015 on My TV 33’s Focus on South Florida with Irika Sargent at 10 a.m., as she promotes the center’s own Leadership Fellows Program to the greater public. Our executive director will be joined on air by Anne Vasquez, the managing editor of the Sun Sentinel, to discuss the benefits of this unique program, as well. Ms. Vasquez will serve as a mentor for the initiative and is part of the center’s own Leadership Council.

The Leadership Fellows Program is a year-long mentorship opportunity that is seeking 10 young women of Hispanic/Latina descent and 5 years or less experience in the media business to be paired with 10 veteran media executives. The deadline to apply is June 15, 2015.
