Cara Forline will graduate in May 2024 from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Health & Science Communication.

While at Rowan, Cara has had the opportunity to work for Rowan’s Health & Science Communication Department as their Social Media intern. She has also worked as a Research Assistant for one of her professors. Throughout her time at Rowan, Cara is proud to have interned with three other companies focusing on marketing and social media strategy.

She was invited to present her paper, “Who Can Relate? How a Song About Suicide Helped Destigmatize Mental Illness” at the 2023 National Communication Association conference in National Harbor, MD, where she was the sole student from Rowan University presenting.

With the experience and leadership skills she acquired at Rowan, Cara served as President of the Communication Studies Club and participated in the Lambda Pi Eta and Tau Sigma honor societies.

Upon graduating, Cara feels prepared to contribute to her fields of interest: social media, marketing, and public relations. She looks forward to carrying the knowledge she has gained through her internships, freelance experience, and at Rowan into the digital media industries.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Cara enjoys attending concerts and cheering on the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park
