Nathalie Alvaray joined Univision News in 2016. She is the Local Editor for Univision News Digital. Alvaray is a Venezuelan journalist with over two decades of experience in multiplatform media. She also has extensive experience in working in changing newsroom environments.

Throughout her career, Alvaray has been a promoter of collaboration networks for investigative reporting, entrepreneurship, freedom of speech, security and sustainability. She also has deep knowledge, experience and skills a coach and mentor, motivating teams and individuals to promote personal and organizational excellence. Alvaray is a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow, she spent her year at Stanford University exploring innovation, design thinking, digital culture and entrepreneurship, among other critical skill that are necessary in today’s newsrooms.
