Margie Stein

NAMAR Co-Founder | FIU Alumnus 2014 

Born in Colombia and bred in Miami, Margie is a Florida International University alumni who graduated with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Hospitality Management. After graduating from FIU, Margie immediately began working at JWI PR, a Miami-based boutique PR firm. After two years, Margie was offered the opportunity to move to New York City and open a JWI PR office. At JWI PR in New York, Margie was Director of PR & Business Development since 2016 and managed accounts across a myriad of industries ranging from entertainment to beauty, hospitality and tech, and represented brands such as CARON Paris and the Miami International Film Festival.

After four years of being an integral part of the team at JWI PR, Margie decided to explore PR opportunities in-house and joined the Corporate Communications team at NBCUniversal Telemundo. Currently, Margie is the Director of Media Relations at the network. Additionally, in August of 2019, Margie launched NAMAR alongside business partner Nataly Neuman, an on-the-go sustainable cutlery brand inspired by pandemic safety. Aside from her professional roles, Margie enjoys hosting dinner parties for friends and family, yoga and the ocean.
