Aaliyah Gordon 

Aaliyah Gordon is a graduate student at Florida International University and will be graduating with a Master’s degree in Global Strategic Communication in Fall 2021. Gordon also has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.

Gordon currently holds several job positions at Florida International University. She currently serves as a graduate representative on the College of Communication, Architecture, and The Arts Dean Advisory Board to advocate for students’ interest and wellbeing. Currently, she partnered with Meira Langsam to acquire the Global Strategic Communication graduate student’s feedback regarding electives.

Gordon is also a student intern assisting with alumni relations, marketing and promotion for campaigns such as FIU305, diversity & inclusion, and the College of Communication, Architecture, and The Arts homecoming challenge.  She is also a Learning Assistant in the Mastery Math Lab and a Resident Assistant at Bayview Student Living.

Gordon’s achievements include winning the Ev Clay/PRSA Miami scholarship in 2020. Also in 2020, she won the Unsung Hero award for enhancing the Florida International University experience.

Gordon seeks to work in the entertainment industry. Her interest are international fan base needs; as a direct audience herself, she has firsthand insights. As an experienced event organizer/marketer she can contribute perspective to campaigns.
