Alejandra Espinosa

From a young age, Alejandra Espinosa has been attracted to the art of how a society moves, thinks and acts with one another and how ideologies begin to shape from forms.  Espinosa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Florida International University and is currently a senior at Florida International University and a candidate for a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Urban Design.

Espinosa is also fascinated by the clothes worn globally, and how culture, art, expression all become apparent by the textiles used. For her thesis, Espinosa is looking at the impact of the fashion industry, and the harmful effects it currently has on our land. The project is intended to explore alternative landscape design methods to reduce the footprint while exploring creative endless opportunities made from Lo-Tek methods. The intention is to pave way for opportunities and the better lives of people, while still enjoying statement pieces.

For Espinosa, a leader is always looking for innovative and creative methods to direct a new path towards a vision. Always being bold with ideas and determine to always try. Understanding not just individuals but also the land we live with, and how we can create innovative methods to express art for one another.
