 Kimberly Aldunate

Kimberly Aldunate is an immigrant from Bolivia and a first-generation college student. She is a go-getter and described by her employer as a “Swiss Army Knife’. She is a senior studying Public Relations and Advertising with a concentration in Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics.

Aldunate has demonstrated her leadership by taking positions on a local, district, and national level. Currently, she is serving her second term as the FIU PRSSA Chapter President. As president, she has led her chapter to compete and to win several awards. She serves as the Tri-State District Ambassador for PRSSA National assisting 10 chapters in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Aldunate was selected to join the Diversity and Inclusion PRoud Council Committee for PRSSA National creating initiatives for 9,000 students. Previously, she served as the Sunshine State District Ambassador for PRSSA National.

She has worked for the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital Foundation, Univision, entertainment and lifestyle firms. She has experience in public relations, social media, influencer relations and events.

Aldunate is an award-winning student receiving the PRSA Miami Scholarship twice, the Betsy Plank PRSSA National Scholarship and selected as the Forbes Under 30 Scholar.

Aldunate aspires to work in the tech, media, and music industry. In the future, she plans to start a public relations agency.
