Mariapia Sierra Mendizabal.

Mariapia Sierra was born and raised in Lima, Peru.  She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Arts from Miami Dade College and is now graduating with a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture from Florida International University.

Sierra began studying Interior Architecture at the age of seventeen, and after her move to Miami, she continued to pursue her dream of being a designer and businesswoman.

Sierra embraced the challenge and need to learn the English language to succeed professionally and pursue her love for art and design. 

Inspired by her father and their shared love for design, from an early age, Sierra learned from him to be different and risky in all areas of design. 

Sierra’s travels and life experiences have exposed her to different cultures. Her style is defined as edgy and finds inspiration in surrealism and other surrealist artists like Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali.

Sierra worked as a designer assistant and quickly moved up the ladder to lead designer. 

Sierra now, in collaboration with one of her classmates, has opened their own design firm, called Studio TNG,  TNG’s mission statement is to create a brand by meshing their different styles to create something unique and transcending.
