Melanie Martinez-Lopez

Melanie Martinez-Lopez is a graduate of Marymount University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Criminal Justice.

She has been an active member of the Marymount community as a contributor to the school newspaper publication, The Banner. She also served as President of the Communications Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta and was a student worker for the Marymount Communications Department.

Melanie is an avid storyteller, hardworking and resilient individual with a passion for telling stories and being part of a large community. She looks forward to her career as she is pursuing to become a broadcast sports reporter. She currently works at the Richmond Times-Dispatch and also has work published for the Free-Lance Star and ABC 7 D.C.
