Natalie Baez

Natalie Baez is a Miami-based artist of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent. Baez graduated in 2017 from Design & Architecture Senior High with a focus in Graphic Design (Visual Communications).  She is expected to graduate from FIU in Spring 2021 with a Bachelors of Art in Art, an Art History Minor, an Entrepreneurship Minor and a Certificate in Portrait and Figurative Art.

Baez is passionate about art-making, sustainability and sharing with her community. Baez encourages the idea of reimagining and redesigning objects to save usable materials from becoming waste. Her professional goal is to run a multi-purpose community center for families, students and creative people to learn how to repurpose, repair, or trade materials for art-making and other design projects. This multi-purpose community center will provide a safe atmosphere that encourages young children and their families to practice creative thinking and designing what their imaginations desire.
