Natalie La Roche Pietri

Natalie La Roche Pietri is a journalist. She has reported in Miami as a news intern writing for the Miami Herald and on camera in Washington, D.C., as an NBCU Academy Diversity, Equity and Inclusion fellow. After graduating in the summer, she will be interning at the Boston Globe covering general news.

Originally from Venezuela, Natalie grew up in South Florida and double majored in digital communications and English at Florida International University. She is managing editor of Caplin News, a student publication serving the greater community. Natalie also writes short fiction stories and poetry. She is interested in education, gender issues, and politics.
