Patricia M. Menendez

Patricia M. Menendez is a senior pursuing both a Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability and the Environment. Menendez has been involved in multiple organizations throughout her college career, including the Frost Art Museum, FIU EdgeLab, StartUP FIU and PantherNOW. She is currently the Director of Culture at BOLD, a student-run strategic communications agency at FIU. Menendez is responsible for the agency’s newsletter, podcast and keeping members engaged through events, activities and discussions.

Menendez sees herself as a leader, explorer and storyteller. After graduation, she hopes to integrate her knowledge of the media landscape with her passion for the environment by creating and telling stories that will positively impact the environment and society as a whole. Her goal is to work for National Geographic or the Walt Disney Company in the production or marketing department, where she will use her skills in communications and science to educate and show the public the beauty and complexity of the world around us through a captivating and innovative lens.
