7 Signs You’re Conquering the Creative Manifesto

Here’s the thing about the creative process it is a master of playing hard to get. When you need it, it is completely unavailable, and arrives unannounced. So understandably, there are a few proclamations to be made when it comes to creativity, but the following are the only truths a true creative will manifest.

1. Live, eat, sleep, think, and dream outside the box. Heck, wear the box as long as it’s something different.

2. Create work to be proud of…that means not selling out. Do not holla for a dolla.

3. Do not wait for the perfect idea work until you find it.

4. Copious amounts of caffeine will be consumed on the never ending quest for inspiration.

5. You will convince yourself that you know what you’re doing even when you haven’t the slightest clue.

6. Sleep will become a ritual sacrifice as most nights will become sleepless.For some reason the best ideas come in the middle of delirium.

7. You will fail… a lot, but you never quit.

Any creative hates to admit that half the fun is the thrill of the chase. When upholding the creative manifesto many times it feels like the right one will never come along, but like any good relationship when you stumble upon the right one you just know.
