What Am I Looking At?

Five Senses

This piece is a little out there both in its titles (Taste me, Smell me, etc.) and the content of each link. When looking at each part as well as the whole thing overall it is not certain whether this work is more mysterious or confusing, but it is, nonetheless, intriguing. Looking at this work you will have to make your own conclusions about what is being presented to you. It raises some questions: Why are the five senses involved? Do the images under each sense represent the favorite sights, smells, touches, sounds, and taste of the creator? Do they represent him?

This work may not resonate with every type of audience, especially since there is little context to base it on. However, the unusual combinations of items, moving images, and bright colors make this a fun experience. If the links to each part were removed and each execution was shown side by side, being taken out of the little amount of context that surrounds the overall piece, this would increase the level of mystery, confusion, and interpretation of the work, which would either fascinate the audience into trying to figure out what is in front of them more or frustrate them and have them dismiss it completely.
