Lissette is a Cuban-born photographer whose work deals with the exploration of memory, place, and lineage. She received her MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004. Lissette has exhibited extensively in solo and collective shows nationally and internationally, and has also been selected as a finalist for various photographic awards, including the 2013 CINTAS Foundation Fellowship Award. She is an alumni of Oolite arts (ArtCenter/South Florida), where she spent 6 years in their residency program. She has been an Adjunct Professor and Lab Manager at FIU since 2006.
