Appointments:
You may make an appointment to see an academic advisor during these times of the week:
Monday-Thursday from 9am-6:30pm
To make an appointment with your advisor:
1. Go to my.fiu.edu.
2. Go to the Student Dashboard.
3. Click on Appointment Request tab. The availability for appointment times is displayed for the next 2 weeks.
4. Select the appointment date and time you want.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on “Reserve Appointment.” Note: Please make sure to arrive for your appointment on time.

Aisha Williams began her advising career with the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts in October of 2013. She started as an Academic Advisor, advising for the Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture programs. She currently serves as the Manager of Academic Advising Services for the School of Architecture, where she oversees all advising activities for the three departments that make up the School of Architecture. Aisha received a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Florida International University and an M.S. in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University.
Maria Calderin

Maria Calderin was born in Cuba and arrived in the United States with her family in 1961. She graduated from Miami Dade College with an associate’s degree. She worked at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Atmospheric Sciences for 19 years as an Administrative Assistant. From 2010 to 2011, she worked as a temporary employee at the FIU College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts, and then as Office Manager at the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts | Miami Beach Urban Studios since its opening in September 2011. In March 2015, she became the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts’s Office Coordinator for the Student Services and Advising Center.
